(2) In accordance with the "Notice on the Participation of Athletes with Disabilities in National Marathon and Related Sports Events" issued by the Chinese Athletics Association, athletes with disabilities who meet the eligibility criteria are permitted to participate in this event. Athletes with disabilities must consult with the Organizing Committee regarding relevant precautions before registering for the event.

(3) Competition Check-in

1. All participants must correctly wear the bib which contains an inductive timing chip and is issued uniformly by the Organizing Committee in a prominent position on their chest. Should any participant fail to wear the chip or bib as required, or if the bib is folded or partially obscured in any manner, resulting in the failure to record their time at the timing point, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify their competition result.

2. Arrive at the designated area at least 60 minutes before the event to complete check-in; check-in will stop 15 minutes before the event.

(4) Starting Order

1. Zone-based starting: Priority shall be given to using the best recorded time for the athlete's registered event, as listed on the official China Marathon website, as the basis for zone assignment [This time reference applies only to events held between January 1, 2025 (inclusive) and September 28,2026 (inclusive)]. Athletes for whom no recorded time for their registered event can be found shall be uniformly assigned to the rear starting zone for that event. The marathon and half-marathon gathering areas are designated as Zones A, B, C, D, and E; wheelchair athletes shall start from behind Zone E.

2. The marathon will be run first, followed by the half-marathon (a timing mat will be placed in front of the assembly line for half-marathon participants; these participants must cross both the timing mat before the assembly area and the timing mat before the arch gate for their race times to be officially recognized). Participants shall enter their designated assembly areas according to the zone corresponding to their entry number; the distance between formations in each zone shall be 10 meters. All participants are prohibited from starting from zones other than their assigned one.

(5) Starting Signal

The event features a two-gun start: the marathon will begin at 7:30 AM, and the half-marathon will begin at 7:45 AM. If any participant starts outside their designated zone or begins the race prematurely, they will not be stopped; however, the chief referee will void their race results and ranking after the event concludes.

(6) Timekeeping Method

1. The race will be timed using an induction timing system; the induction timing chip will commence timing as the athlete crosses the starting line sensor belt. The Organizing Committee will provide induction timing services for participants in both the Marathon and Half Marathon events. Induction timing mats and race recording systems will be installed at the starting line, every 5 km mark, at each turnaround point, and at the midpoint of the Marathon (21.0975 km). At the finish line for both the Marathon and Half Marathon events, induction timing mats and a finish-line photographic timing system will be in place; athletes must pass through all timing mats in sequence during their run. Results obtained by completing the race within the designated closing time but missing any of the specified timing checkpoints will not be included in the final rankings.

2. When the performance discrepancy between the two timing chips measured across the entire track excluding the starting point is less than 0.1 seconds, the athlete's time shall be verified; should any violation be identified during this verification, the athlete's race result shall be disqualified.

3. The timing chip will be distributed alongside the bibs at the item collection point; no chip deposit is required.

(7) Closing Time

To ensure the safety and smooth progression of all participants during the event, designated closing times have been set for each section of the race route, with temporary traffic closures implemented during these periods. Upon reaching the specified closing time, the corresponding section will resume normal traffic flow. Participants who have not completed the required distance by the designated closing time must immediately stop their race and exit the track to avoid any potential hazards. Such participants may take the shuttle bus provided by the Organizing Committee to the designated evacuation point.
